STiPAG

We are carrying out this short survey to influence the Scheme Trustees and STMicroelectronics to rectify the unfair situation where more than 60% of all Scheme members who do not qualify for any increases to pensions-in-payment relating to service undertaken prior to 1 July 1993. The attached background document explains our scheme’s situation in some detail. Our scheme is not unique in doing this as has been highlighted in a Guardian article from last December https://www.theguardian.com/money/2024/dec/22/heartless-multinationals-exploiting-pensions-loophole-for-uk-workers)

Please complete the survey https://forms.office.com/r/RPK6m7A1PD as soon as you can – it should take only a few minutes.  And once you’ve submitted, please pass the link on to anyone you think might be a member of the Scheme or who has worked for ST at some time.

Your participation is greatly appreciated. We also intend putting links to the survey on our X (https://www.x.com/STiPAG93) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/stipag/) accounts.

Best regards

Your STiPAG committee
