 Dennis Ryden, 66, died December 25th, 2007, at Penrose Hospital, surrounded by his family. Dennis was born February 18, 1941, in Los Angeles, California. He met his wife Lynnette (nee Daroca) at University of California, Riverside, while earning a Ph.D. in physics. After spending 11 years on the East Coast, Dennis and Lynnette moved to Colorado Springs in 1979. Dennis worked for 25 years as a physicist in the semi-conductor industry and more recently as chief inventor and owner of Electric Eyewear Systems. He enjoyed sailing, fly-fishing, cooking and gardening. Most of all, he loved being Grampy to Greta, Hazel, and Oliver. Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Lynnette, daughter and son-in-law, Jen and Brian Glueck, son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Carrie, and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 30, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9 El Pomar Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marian House Soup Kitchen, 14 W.
