It is with such a heavy heart I have to tell you Mike passed away on Monday, March 23. We returned from vacation in Egypt on Sunday, March 15. He became ill with symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and tested positive. He was hospitalized, became progressively worse, sedated and on a ventilator. The doctors and staff did everything possible but his body could not fight it. So very difficult for me as I was in quarantine, plus no visitors allowed in the hospital so I was not able to be with him. I am OK physically but my heart is broken. I’m very blessed to have wonderful family and friends sending me love, prayers and cares. Updated 25 Mar 2020. |
