Nigel joined Inmos in 1993 on the PFUE scheme and worked in the boards group writing various demonstration applications and learning everything about Transputers, UNIX and C that anyone would teach him. After that year he gratefully accepted a sponsorship to read electronic engineering at UCL, switching after a year to finally graduate in computer science. During his final year he set up NeoWorks, a software company based in central London and continues to spend his time writing software and acting as marketing director in roughly equal proportions. |
