Adrian left Inmos in January 1990 along with a few fellow renegades and started Brooktree's Bristol design centre, which was sold to Pioneer a couple of years later. With Brooktree and Pioneer he was involved with MPEG, and was editor of the MPEG-2 video standard. He left Pioneer for LSI Logic where he remained until April 1999. Adrian was technical director at Siroyan, a start-up developing interesting but sadly not profitable, silicon IP until early 2003, and is now back at LSI. updated Nov 03. |
