Christopher joined Inmos as a graduate in 1986, first working on the B00x evaluation boards with Paul Walker, then on the G17x graphics chips under Adrian Beames. After the ST acquisition, he moved to Tours, France to do Product Marketing for application-specific discretes (ASD). Eight happy years at Inmos/ST inspired Christopher to make his career in startups, beginning with electronics-teaching software company Crocodile Clips (now Sumdog) which he co-founded with another ex-Inmoser Andrew Hall. Christopher then moved to Cambridge to join wireless IP company TTPCom, then mobile video processor start-up Alphamosaic, subsequently acquired by Broadcom. The less successful RF start-up Mirics was followed by set-top box consultancy, then imaging start-up Spectral Edge with another successful exit. Still in Cambridge, Christopher is nowadays helping University spinoffs such as Cellexcel, and writing about Technology for Washington-based think-tank CEPA. Updated Oct 23.
