| Pete left Inmos to go to Fairchild (bought by National), Gould AMI (bought by the Japanese), Silicon Connections (bought by AMCC), Brooktree (bought by Rockwell), Anchor Chips (bought by Cypress in 1999). After "vesting out" at Cypress, Pete is now VP Sales, Marketing, and Operations at Magis Networks. Magis is doing chipsets for 5 GHz networks. His wife, Joane, and Pete both love San Diego and have been there for over 13 years - it is a hard place to beat. | |
