Tom ended up roaming around the country with various semiconductor companies. Unfortunately not many of them are still around, suffering similar fates as inmos. A year ago, Tom parted ways with an 8 year stint at Texas Instruments in Dallas. He left as a Group Member of the Technical Staff as a Reliability Engineer. While there he taught the Test engineering community and other Reliability/Quality teams about low part-per-million statistics, outlier screening and how to save >$20M annually by doing a few operations better.
